Judge John immigrated with his wife and young family around 1750. He became a judge for the English as well as the new country after the Revolutionary War. He was a leader in his community for Independence and Religious Freedom. Nine of his sons fought in the battles for freedom.
William was a french Huguenot who was banished from France to Scotland then moved to Antrim, Ireland for religious freedom. The crown wouldn’t recognize their marriages so his son John Immigrated to America.
