Logan and Mary raised their family in the Three Creeks area of Union County, Arkansas. If you look on the left hand corner of the map you can see the words “Three Creeks” it was their they raised their ten children. Logan had enlisted as a Civil War Soldier on the Confederate side. He was in the 1st Regiment, Arkansas Calvary, a Private under Crawfords command. Logan was a slave holder, Soldier in the Mexican-American War of 1836, Free Mason. In 1840 he owned 600 acres in Arkansas and cultivated Cotton and Corn.
