Albert Emmett grew up on his father’s plantation in Scooba, Kemper, Mississippi. After his father died and the plantation went through probate He and his brother Edwin managed the Plantation. It would remain in the family for generations as we know that Frances Steele Kimbrough and her children lived on it for awhile.
