1784 Issued a land Grand in Richmond, County Georgia
Gideon Patterson was awarded 150 Acres on the Savannah River for fight in the Revolutionary War, adjacent the lands of James and Nathan Beall. He received his part of 200 acres that Sophia’s father, John Phillips, deceased Willed to him. Which amounted to Gideon receiving an extra 50 acres.
